FC Stumbras announces that Jaisen Clifford has signed a contract with the club.
In signing the 21-year-old South African forward, Stumbras are adding a player with versatility, skill and European experience to Mariano Barreto’s squad.
Apart from being with the Matsatsantsa juniors earlier in his career, the striker has also been on the books of local teams Bidvest Wits juniors, as well as the Stars of Africa Football Academy.
Later he moved to Europe where he successfully played for Maltese Top division clubs Gudja United and Mqabba. He has over 20 caps and two goals in Maltese Premier league.
21-year-old also brings versatility to the squad as he is able to pitch in at multiple positions. He has played both – as a striker and winger.
He said: “Stumbras is a very good team and has a lot of good young players. I am really happy to be part of it. I think that all of the players are winners and with that obviously we’d like to win as many games as we can and climb up the table”
Welcome to the Stumbras family, Jaisen!
